This deck is worth every penny. I've used this deck with plenty of spectators without a hint of detection. The cards are top notch in quality and remarkably easy to read. If you're a card worker, consider this deck a must have in your arsenal. 1 of 1 magicians found this helpful. After looking at and reviewing several factory marked decks I finally got the Ultimate Marked Deck. It is outstanding! It's very easy to read the markings and what is even better is that there are no codes or methods to learn. You just read the suit and value directly. This really is the easiest marked deck you can use. I can't recommend it highly enough! I then had my wife examine the cards and she could not find the "secret" until I gave her a hint. I had another marked deck that I let my wife examine and she found the secret immediately, even though it was a harder deck to "read" than the Ultimate Marked Deck. Great deck! I really like this marked deck, I have almost every marked deck on the market and this one is at the top.

rowdymagi5 Virginia 3242 Posts Posted: Aug 2, 2018 06:12 pm I like the Penguin Marked Deck. Easy to read and good quality cards. Race Blakhart Selma, CA 545 Posts Posted: Aug 4, 2018 03:31 am If you're looking for quality and superior markings, the DMC Elites are BY FAR the best marked deck I've ever owned. They're beautiful, and nobody will ever see the marks. Visible from close-up or far away. They're great. But if you're looking for value, or something you can afford to have signed, then look no further than Penguin's marked deck. Can't beat the price. The Code deck is fun, too. But it's a tad more specific in it's uses. mroek Loyal user 226 Posts Posted: Aug 4, 2018 09:03 am I have (almost) no experience with marked decks, but I came across this Kickstarter a couple of days ago: I am not in any way affiliated with this, just found it by coincidence. I think it looks quite clever, but as I said, I'm not knowledgeable in this area. Posted: Aug 4, 2018 10:49 am Quote: On Aug 4, 2018, mroek wrote: I just saw the video for these a few days ago.

For maximum visibility, Ted Lesley's system is hard to beat however you do have to construct the deck yourself with the supplied decals. But for a full ready-to-go out of the box (multiple phase) routine, 'The Marksman' by Luke Jermay is probably 'the best' I've ever seen. But unfortunately I cannot see the markings unless I'm performing in daylight. But for those occasions when you just want something inexpensive that's 'ready when you are' Penguin's marked deck fits the bill perfectly. They cost only a small amount more than a standard deck of cards and the markings are quite visible. The main question you have to ask yourself is what do you want to do with the deck? Once you decide on a specific routine then you can choose the best marked deck for that very purpose. Neznarf NY then AZ now 1840 Posts Posted: Aug 2, 2018 11:29 am I think the Superior Deck is the BEST one and I have a few. Very easy to read. $15 "Life is not about waiting for the storms to 's about learning how to dance in the rain. "

Same goes for every card. All the cards are marked in the upper left corner as you would naturally spread the cards (if you're a right handed performer) This is my favorite marked deck of them all. I've played with many. The Boris Wild was my fav before this came out. I use this in conjunction with a memorized deck routine to kill people. Then the deck is shuffled and I use the markings to do other tricks that you just can't do with out a marked deck. Boris Wild, and Luke Jermay have some great work with Marked Decks. This is by far the easiest to read in my opinion. My only reservation: those who have reported that you must have good eyesight to read these cards are not kidding. I find that reading the "value" of the card is simple, but the "suit" takes a little extra effort. With a quick squint I can pick out Hearts, Spades, and Diamonds fairly easily. I have real difficulty reading Clubs, for whatever reason. In my case I've simply adjusted to, "If I'm not sure what suit it is, it must be Clubs" and I've always been correct.

The Boris Wilde marked deck is very nice but I do not want to hesitate for a second locating the markings, This deck is a nice balance from too bold (Ted Lesley System (Still #1 in my book)) and Boris Wilde (Hard to detect (Not a bad deck at all just isn't in my top 5)) the markings can be read from a ribbon spread (Ted Lesley's cannot) I am still going to give this 5 stars just because it is very balanced. I just want to Identify the marks in. 000001 of a second because I am very picky. This is THE marked deck of all marked decks. It's a Rider Back so it will perfectly match your other Bicycle decks. Yes, the markings are relatively small but if your eyesight is decent, you will learn to see them instantly - and this makes them even more difficult for spectators to figure out. I have never had a single person discover anything unusual about this deck and many have tried. I've bought a few of these over the last few years. I try to always have one available! There are some great effects that you cannot do with a normal deck.
